First Four Days!

Hi friends! As I am currently honeymooning in the most spectacular place on earth and left all of my notes at home, I can only remember the first four days of 2016 and what I will be celebrating for #PartywithPatti. So in case you want to join me, the preliminary schedule is this:

January 1st: New Year’s Day. National Bloody Mary Day.

January 2nd: National Personal Trainer Awareness/Appreciation Day. National Cream Puff Day (now that’s irony). National Buffet Day. National Science Fiction Day.

January 3rd: National Fruitcake Toss Day. National Chocolate Covered Cherry Day. National Drinking Straw Day.

January 4th: National Spaghetti Day. National Trivia Day. National Thank God It’s Monday Day!

Note: Thank God It’s Monday Day is only recognized on one of the websites I’ve been referencing, but it is also the premiere of The Bachelor, so it warrants a crap ton of celebration. And let me tell you, this season is gonna be a DOOZY.

I’m going to try and put out a weekly calendar so everyone who wants to know ahead of time (or is a day ahead of the US) can prepare and celebrate. Thank you again for being a part of this insanity!!!

  1. What a fun and inspirational idea! Celebrating something every day is a lovely thing to do. I’m excited to try this with you. I also like Jenni’s idea of photographing what we are celebrating, a way to look back. This reminds me of the 100 Happy Days I did this year and it really is cool to take a minute and appreciate something small (national drinking straw day has my name written all over it). I find it very rewarding. I have a feeling these days are going to be full of laughter and enjoyment. Thanks for starting this!

  2. This is such a fun, encouraging idea! Let’s celebrate something every day. What a concept! Can’t wait to get on board with this and see what 2016 has in store. I also like Jenni’s idea of taking a picture of what you’re celebrating. I am in! Challenge accepted!

I’m so looking forward to this – although my birthday falls on National Scrapple day – I thought “Great I love board games”….but apparently Scapple is a food….
Have planned my “Dont cry over spilt Milk” day photo already πŸ™‚

  4. Hi Patti. Found your blog whilst googling your ever so lovely hubby. I love the idea of celebrating every day in 2016 and I’m in. I have decided to document this year via a daily photo of at least one of the day’s celebrations so I can let my facebook friends in on the fun. Now all I have to do is learn how to make a Bloody Mary. Thanks for thinking up this insane journey. Jen – Melbourne Australia
